What this page covers
This page explains every cookie that may be set when you visit GradeCalculators.org. For the broader privacy story (analytics, data we do and do not collect, children's privacy), see our Privacy Policy.
First-party cookies
We do not set any first-party cookies. Calculator state lives in
your browser's memory (or, when noted, in localStorage) and is never
synced to our servers. Theme preference, when toggled, is stored client-side
via localStorage rather than a cookie.
Third-party functional cookies
The site is served through Cloudflare, which may set the following functional cookies to protect against abuse and keep the CDN running:

__cf_bm: bot-management cookie set by Cloudflare. Lifespan: 30 minutes. Purpose: separating real visitors from automated traffic. -
cf_clearance: set when Cloudflare's challenge needs to verify a visitor. Lifespan: up to 30 days.
These are functional cookies necessary for site security. They contain no personal information about you and are not used for advertising or tracking across other sites. Cloudflare publishes the full list at developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/reference/policies-compliances/cloudflare-cookies/.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first by design and does not set cookies. It collects only aggregate page-view data (URL, referrer, country, browser type) and never identifies an individual user.
Advertising cookies (future)
The site does not currently display advertising. If we introduce advertising in a later phase (AdSense or a managed network), this page will be updated before the change ships and a consent mechanism will be added at the same time. The cookies set by any future advertising provider will be listed here.
How to control cookies
Browser controls let you block or delete cookies for any site. Blocking the Cloudflare functional cookies above may trigger a security challenge on each visit but does not break the calculators themselves.
